Bear The Weaknesses Of Others

Standard

Lord, You have invited me to pray for the needs of others, and since You desire what is best for them, I take this opportunity to bring these requests to You.

The Spirit helps me in my weakness, for I do not know what I ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for me with groans that words cannot express. And He who searches the hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27

Take a moment to lift up the needs of your family and friends, and to offer up any other burdens for others that the Lord brings to mind.

O Lord, the God of our fathers, are You not the God who is in heaven? Are You not the ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in Your hand, and no one is able to withstand You. 2 Chronicles 20:6

I will tell of the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, the praises of the Lord, according to all the Lord has done for us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has bestowed on them according to His mercies, and according to the multitude of His lovingkindnesses. Isaiah 63:7

“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will wait for Him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good to hope silently for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:24-26

We who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those who are not strong, and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. Romans 15:1-2

No one should seek his own good, but the good of others. 1 Corinthians 10:24

Lord, I thank You for Your power and might and for Your loving-kindness. I thank You for being my portion, and I pray for tender sensitivity as I seek to meet the needs of others.
