    • Light, my friends, shines on darkness and exposes the darkness for what it is. This is more than just a touchy subject…it is, as it was in the garden of Eden when man fell. They sinned, realized their nakedness (sin), ran to hide and cover themselves. They hid ashamed as God called them out….as if He didn’t know where they were! There is “nothing new under the sun,” I remember my grandmother saying!

The truths that we stand for are a beacon in the night for those who will see His light through us and run to Him. And those who have been exposed, run, blame everyone else and hide.

God is Elohim, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, our creator. He created his children for this very moment in time. So, Shine

God is El Elyon, the mighty God- The Supreme Ruler of the universe. The power TO Shine! So shine!!

El Roi- the God who sees. God is very near and will care for and meet your need in moments like these.
      Find rest!

Godis grace-filled but He is also just and quick to call out the wickedness for what it is. Mankind, all of us, are by nature sinful. When my sin is exposed MY very nature is to run as well. Jesus came as the light of the world, so that the world might be brought back into relationship with God.

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.” John 3:16-17 MSG

God is ALWAYS true to His character. We have a place to run and find safety and security for our hearts.

      So Shine beloved of God!!!

Run into the arms of your Savior, Lord and King. Trust Him fully as a child of God.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10 NAS

Three Bible verses immediately come to mind regarding light and darkness.

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 MSG

“The Life-Light was the real thing: Every person entering Life He brings into Light. He was in the world, the world was there through him, and yet the world didn’t even notice.” John 1:9 MSG

“This is the crisis we’re in: God-light streamed into the world, but men and women everywhere ran for the darkness. They went for the darkness because they were not really interested in pleasing God. Everyone who makes a practice of doing evil, addicted to denial and illusion, hates God-light and won’t come near it, fearing a painful exposure. But anyone working and living in truth and reality welcomes God-light so the work can be seen for the God-work it is.” John 3:18-20 MSG

You are loved and so very close in heart and prayer my friends. God is calling us to another level of surrender and complete dependance on Him for every opportunity to grow in grace and knowledge. “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” 2 Corinthians 4:17

    • Shine His light…….Jesus IS the light of the world and in your hearts…..You are HIS!!!

“Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.” Ephesians 2:8

Hang in there beloved of God!!!!!

“So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Jesus speaking to the disciples….

“All this I (Jesus) have told you so that you will not fall away………. so that in Me (Jesus) you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” John 16:1a, 33

Looking forward to our journey…..
