Abundant Goodness. Unending Grace.

Standard

O Lord, I am deeply grateful for Your wonderful acts, for Your abundant promises, and for the gift of my relationship with You through Jesus Christ.

I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely, I will remember Your wonders of long ago. I will meditate on all Your works And consider all Your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is so great as our God? You are the God who works wonders; You have revealed Your strength among the peoples. You redeemed Your people with Your power, The descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Psalm 77:11-15

Take a moment to express your gratitude for the many blessings that you have received from the Lord.

I will express the memory of Your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of Your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, and great in lovingkindness. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. Psalm 145:7-9

For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before Me, and every tongue will confess to God.” So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans 14:11-12

I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow my foot to slip; He who watches over me will not slumber. The Lord is my keeper; the Lord is my shade at my right hand. The sun will not harm me by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep me from all evil; He will preserve my soul. The Lord will watch over my coming and going from this time forth and forever. Psalm 121:1-3, 5-8

Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy; love does not boast, it is not arrogant, it does not behave rudely; it does not seek its own, it is not provoked, it keeps no record of wrongs; it does not rejoice in unrighteousness but rejoices with the truth; it bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Lord, I thank You for Your goodness so real, unending grace {and ready favor} and for Your righteous hand. I thank You for Your love, protection, guidance. I ask for Your continued guidance over me for all of my days. Help me to walk in mercy, kindness and love. Speak peace over me as I entrust my future to You.

The Lord Is My Portion

Standard

God, I want Your Word to be deeply implanted in me so that I not only know the truth, but also express it in the way I live.

When I seek the Lord my God, I will find Him if I seek Him with all my heart and with all my soul. Deuteronomy 4:29

Take a moment to affirm the truth of these words from Scripture and ask God to make them a growing reality in your life.

I will give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His loving-kindness endures forever. I will give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful acts to the children of men, for He satisfies the thirsty soul and fills the hungry soul with good things. Psalm 107:1, 8-9

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, “Come, you who are blessed by My Father; inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world.” Matthew 25:31-34

The Lord is my portion. I promise to keep your words. Psalm 119:57

I will devote myself to prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2

Live At Peace With All

Standard

Leaning in to this season of prayer, reflection, prayers for Your leading in a time of stillness and rest. Loving the quiet, peace-filled days full of hope and Your promises.

Take a moment to lift up the needs of your family and friends, and to offer up any other burdens for others that the Lord brings to mind.

If it is possible, as far as it depends on me, let me live at peace with all men. Romans 12:18

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; with my mouth I will make Your faithfulness known through all generations. I will declare that Your lovingkindness will be built up forever, that You will establish Your faithfulness in the heavens. And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord, Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. For who in the heavens can be compared with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the sons of the mighty? God is greatly feared in the council of the holy ones and more awesome than all who surround Him. O Lord God of hosts, who is like You, O mighty Lord? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. Psalm 89:1-2, 5-8

From the rising to the setting of the sun, Your name will be great among the nations. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to Your name, for Your name will be great among the nations. Malachi 1:11

When the kindness and love of God my Savior appeared, He saved me, not by works of righteousness which I have done, but according to His mercy. He saved me through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit whom He poured out on me abundantly through Jesus Christ my Savior, so that having been justified by His grace, I might become an heir according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7

He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one should give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to us, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, we may abound in every good work. As it is written: “He has scattered abroad His gifts to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase our seed and will increase the fruits of our righteousness. 2 Corinthians 9:6-10

Lord, I thank You for Your mercies and faithfulness and for the greatness of Your name. I thank You for the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit, and I ask that I would sow bountifully by being generous to others thy is beautiful day.7

Ask. Seek. Find.

Standard

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am grateful that You care about the things that concern me and that You want me to offer them up to You.

When I ask, it will be given to me; when I seek, I will find; when I knock, the door will be opened to me. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8; Luke 11:9-10

Take a moment to share your personal needs with God, including your physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns.

The word of the Lord is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord. Psalm 33:4-5

In Christ I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on me with all wisdom and understanding. Ephesians 1:7-8

I will not let love and truth leave me; I will bind them around my neck and write them on the tablet of my heart. Proverbs 3:3

Lord, I thank You for Your faithfulness and for fully bearing my sins. I thank You for Your gift of redemption and forgiveness, and I ask that I would turn away from evil and cling to the way of love and truth.

Wisdom. Salvation. Freedom.

Standard

I praise You, Lord, that You are intimately acquainted with my ways and that You always love me and have my best interests at heart.

May I be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, may I let my requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

May I prepare my mind for action and be self-controlled, setting my hope fully on the grace to be brought to me at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:13

Take a moment to offer this day to the Lord and ask Him for the grace to grow in your knowledge and love for Him.

Where does wisdom come from? Where does understanding dwell? It is hidden from the eyes of every living thing and concealed from the birds of the air. Destruction and Death say, “Only a rumor of it has reached our ears.” God understands its way, and He knows its place. For He looks to the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens. Job 28:20-24

As one who has believed in God, I want to be careful to devote myself to doing what is good. These things are good and profitable for everyone. Titus 3:8

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. 1 John 4:10-12

Lord, I thank You that You are the source of all wisdom and that You delivered me from the slavery of death. I thank You that Christ is the door of salvation, and I ask that I would devote myself to doing good and to loving others.

Give Thanks To Our Good And Great God

Standard

Lord, I give thanks for Your greatness, your goodness, and your love, and I now draw near to enjoy your presence.

I know that You alone, whose name is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth. Psalm 83:18

Take a moment to consider God’s awesome majesty and thank Him that He loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you.

The word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow, and it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13

O Lord, You are our Father. We are the clay; You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand. Isaiah 64:6, 8

The one who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes. 1 John 2:10-11

Lord, I thank You for the living power of Your word and for the abundance of Your grace. I thank You for creating and loving me, and I ask that I would grow in love for others.

If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the furthest part of the sea, even there Your hand will lead me; Your right hand will lay hold of me. If I say, “Surely the darkness will cover me,” even the night will be light around me. The darkness is not dark to You, and the night shines as the day; darkness and light are alike to You. Psalm 139:7-12

God lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord. Psalm 40:2-3
